Hi All!First, before I forget, if you are leaving comments on this blog site we are not able to access them from China, so if you want to contact us you need to email us at kens3kids@yahoo.com.
Now, the good stuff...since we arrived fireworks have been going on intermittently. No pattern or reason. We went to the Tianamen Square today, a rickshaw ride through a hutong (family compound) and an acrobatic show. We also ate at a "real" Chinese restaurant.
I also was able to experience a "squatty" potty today. Not an experience that needs to be repeated.

More Chinese information-alot of Chinese men carry purses, not fanny packs, grandma purses.
-children that are learning to be potty trained wear "split" pants. Just as it says-there is no crotch in the pants. If the child needs to use the facilities they go right where they are, bushes, street, etc. Their "area" is exposed to the elements.
From watching where most Chinese live it is very difficult not to be very thankful for what I have been given. We fly to Guangzhou tomorrow morning and then get Mayleah on Monday. Lots to pray about. Happy Saturday! Chris
